Norr Mälarstrand Shorts Black are black unisex running shorts. They are a part of our running collection Norr Mälarstrand, where we create performance wear made for all four seasons. The fabrics only weigh 130 grams/m² and they are knitted in the district of Västergötland in Sweden from 95 % polyester from recycled PET-bottles and 5 % elastane. The result is a function material with an amazing quality. The shorts are classic running shorts and which means that they are short. Check the size guide for assistance. We have placed our logo on the left side of the leg and a pocket for your smartphone back on the inside of the shorts.
These black running shorts are a part of our sustainable running collection Norr Mälarstrand. At the shoreline of Norr Mälarstrand in Stockholm, is where nature meets the city pulse and shows it´s beauty. Along the flat Norr Mälarstrand, the legs always sprint a little bit faster as you hear the sound from the water beside you. Stockholm was also the place where our team surprisingly snatched the title of the relay in Stockholm´s City Run in the year of 1950 – a victory that still inspires us.
At YMR Track, running is in our DNA. We have spent tens of thousands of hours at the sports track wearing different sportswear and know how functionality and fitting can improve the performance. We work with carefully selected materials and intersections that are made to simplify running. The running collection Norr Mälarstrand have been tested under tough training in our Nordic climate. We design and knit all our fabrics locally in Sweden and all the polyester we use in Norr Mälarstrand is made from recycled PET bottles.
” When I as a track athlete competed in the big stadiums against the best in the world, a centimeter or hundredth of a second could be the difference between success and failure. Every little detail was important back then and not a least the fitting and feeling of the garments against the body. We have brought this mindset with us when developing Norr Mälarstrand” says founder and CEO of YMR Track Club, Peter Häggström Lindecrantz.
