Änggården is situated between the hipster area Linnéstaden, the famous park Slottskogen and the Botanical Gardens in Gothenburg, Sweden. This is where city meets nature and the dynamic that appears has inspired when developing the Änggården Collection.

We have run many miles in the Änggården hills just behind the old vintage houses in different colours. Breathing increases when pushing that little extra up the hill to the amazing view over the city and the archipelago of Gothenburg. Few places are better than Änggården for workouts of intervals, long distance running or hill training. After the workout, it’s just a few minutes of warm down to Linnéstaden for a great espresso.

Our ambition is to create performance wear for places like Änggården; Places for workouts that demand the best functionality of performance wear and have the city pulse just around the corner. The idea is to feel dressed up both at practice and after practice during that amazing espresso. Our performance wear in the Änggården Collection are made from premium fabrics designed and knitted just a few kilometers away in the western part of Sweden.

These women’s running shorts are part of our new Änggården collection. It is made from recycled polyester and the fabric we have developed is OEKO-TEX class 1 certified. For this new collection we have used our highly appreciated performance fabrics from existing collections as a starting point and made a new and improved fabric. The result is a textured moisture-wicking fabric with improved durability. The fabric used for these women’s running shorts is made of polyester made from recycled materials with excellent moisture-wicking properties. Together with the lightweight textured knitting this makes for a comfortable and breathable fabric perfectly suited for tough workouts in both cold and warm temperatures.
