Merino wool fleece vest in beige/navy blue
Expected launch in February
In the Västanede Merino Fleece Vest we have not compromised on anything! This is a fleece vest in merino wool/tencel, knitted in Sweden with a collar and details of a woven fabric from Sweden made from recycled plastic. The fleece fabric is very soft and comfortable and a more durable alternative than traditional fleece. The vest is part of our wool collection Västanede. Wear the vest to and from the workout or for the warm-up or as a casual garment. The vest keeps you warm and dry and with its composition of the finest wool fibers, it is incredibly comfortable. The wool’s unique properties protect regardless of climate, as the wool’s special properties mean that it retains air. The wool thus becomes thermostatic. We usually think that wool warms, but the wool’s unique properties mean that it also protects from the heat. Therefore, this is an optimal garment for all seasons. Match nicely with, for example, Västanede Merino LS Navy.

How to handle a wool garment:
A wool garment does not need to be washed in the same way as many other garments. To only air the garment is usually enough as the wool has self-cleaning and bactericidal properties. Have in mind that wool pimples and then you can use a wool comb to remove the pimples and the garment feels new and fresh again. If you have accidentally washed the wool garment at too high a temperature, there is an opportunity to stretch it slightly. Put the garment on a water bath (max. 30 ° C) with hair conditioner for about 45 minutes. Then gently pull on the garment so that it becomes larger. This may take some time, but the balm has an effect on the wool that can help. If you handle the wool garment correctly, it can last a very long time.
