One race that captures this spirit perfectly is the Stockholm Half Marathon. A highlight of the Swedish running calendar and a favourite among both locals and international runners.
The course winds through the heart of the city, showcasing Stockholm’s unique blend of historic charm and modern energy. You’ll pass landmarks like the Royal Palace, Riksdag, and Stockholm City Hall, running along sparkling waterfronts, with crowds lining the streets to cheer you on.
What sets Stockholm apart is the atmosphere: warm, welcoming, and vibrant. The city comes alive on race day, and the late-summer light adds a golden glow to the experience. The race is well-organised, the vibe is relaxed yet inspiring, and the sense of accomplishment as you cross the finish line.
After an incredible set of events surrounding the marathon, we decided to keep the party going for our home town half marathon. Join us the day prior to the race for a fun, relaxed shakeout run. Lead by our expert coaches, it is a great opportunity to ease the nerves, stretch the legs, and connect with fellow runners.
