For another year, Långlöparnas Kväll delivered another evening of fast racing, electric atmosphere, and a community driven by the love of the sport.
This year, YMR Track Club was proud to have not one, but three athletes and friends of the brand competing in the men’s 10,000m final. Each athlete, dressed in our signature racewear, embodied the values we hold close: grit, ambition, and the pursuit of personal bests.
YMR Coach Hugo Setthagen crossed the finish line in third place with a remarkable personal best of 30:20.31. It was a performance marked by patience and poise. Tucked into the lead pack from the gun, Hugo made his move when it mattered most—charging down the final straight with a fierce kick that had the crowd on their feet.
Not far behind, Mathias Stjernlöf and Hannes Bjernhagen pushed each other through every lap, running side by side for much of the race. Their relentless rhythm paid off, with both athletes setting new personal bests.
Mathias secured 11th with 31:10.94, followed closely by Hannes in 12th with 31:12.06. It was a powerful display of internal competition—the kind that brings out the best in each athlete.
Beyond the results, Långlöparnas Kväll reminded us of what makes this event so special. The intimacy of the setting, the closeness of the crowd, and the fusion of performance and culture make it unlike anything else on the calendar.
To see athletes thrive in that environment, each breaking new ground, fills us with pride and purpose.
