HIGHLIGHTS OF 2024

At YMR Track Club, we have the privilege to work with some brilliant Brand Ambassadors. We aim to connect with likeminded people who share our passion for running and the lifestyle it brings. Fredrik Stoltz & Simon Wikstrand have worked closely with us for some time now, both great runners and great people.
After hosting and producing a successful podcast for a number of years, Fredrik & Simon have just now launched the new Löpning & Livet platform, a digital partner to support you with your running journey. We took the chance to catch up with the pair and discuss the new platform as well as their training plans for 2024.

We have really kicked off the year with the release of our new service Löpning & Livet, which is a motivational running coach in your pocket. We are so excited about this and over 100 users are already in and running. It's about finding flexible arrangements that are motivating and fun and adaptable in life. Many are looking for that last piece of the puzzle that results in "the shit gets done". We think we are sitting on that particular piece of the puzzle.
Wow, we have a lot of goals. Both specific goals such as races but also other goals that are more connected to well-being and happiness.
When it comes to the races, we will run e.g. Stockholm Marathon this year, which will be fantastic as none of us have run it. There will also be the Göteborgsvarvet, the Lidingö race and the Kia Fjällmaraton, but other races are also planned. Quite simply the year of competitions. We will of course run meet-ups at every race and we look forward to meeting everyone in the community.
When it has been the coldest, we have tried running on a treadmill or a quieter session outside. The layer-on-layer principle has worked really well and Åsunden insulation is magical this year. Even the Åsunden Hoodie is great against the cold, where you can wear Västanede underneath and Torekov performance vest over. Keeps warm really well!
Don't stress about the increase in volume, but let the body adapt gradually. Take a long-term view of your training investment and trust the plan you have set up. Feel free to use a strong community and surround yourself with people who get the job done, it's contagious.
But also, do the training you think is fun and dare to change sessions if the body or head is not there that day.
Also sending a partner kit on wetransfer with a bit of how we think about branding and exposure.
