Just a few blocks away from our Clubhouse in Stockholm lies the historic Stockholm Stadion, a true sanctuary for athletes and a cornerstone of Swedish sports history. Few places in the world carry such a strong sense of athletic heritage, where the echoes of past champions and the spirit of competition seem to linger in the air.
Built for the 1912 Olympic Games, Stockholm Stadion is more than just a venue—it’s a symbol of human endurance, achievement, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
We are fortunate to be located so close to such an iconic sports arena. With Stockholm Stadion just a short walk from our Clubhouse, we make the most of its proximity whenever possible. This summer, under the stadium’s spotlights, we hosted two pace events on the track. We also use the stadium regularly for our Stockholm run club, providing a perfect gathering place for our community of runners to meet and enjoy a rewarding training experience.
In 2017, when YMR Track Club was founded, Peter Häggström Lindecrantz introduced the very first garment: the Street Tracksuit. It was a tribute to his former sports club's 1970s tracksuit. During the design process, Peter found the inspiration to establish YMR Track Club as a clothing brand.
Now, seven years later, the Street Tracksuit remains one of the most popular pieces in our collection. So, we decided it was time to introduce a brand-new tracksuit for our community. Still drawing inspiration from our track and field heritage, the Stadion Tracksuit reflects an era when sport and fashion merged into one. A lighter and more functional alternative to the Street Tracksuit, the Stadion Collection is designed for both on and off the track.
