THE GREAT LAKE ÅSUNDEN

The Åsunden collection is inspired by the great lake Åsunden which is located in the middle of the textile district Sjuhärad where we produce all our fabrics and make parts of our collections. We have run along this great lake many times. It was out here on the ice in the cold winter, that the King of Sweden, Sten Sture the Younger, in 1520 was badly injured in the battle with the Danes and later died.

INSULATION FOR A COLDER CLIMATE

During the coldest months here in Scandinavia, we get nothing for free as we fight against both the wind and the cold. The smoke from our increasingly intense breathing rises towards the sky. The arms fight and control our leg movement as we run along the beautiful lake Åsunden. This is where the foundation for the race season during spring and summer is laid.
