WE WANT TO RUN TODAY, AND TOMORROW..

Opting for a significant portion of our production within local boundaries, we actively shrink our environmental impact.

Here in the Sjuhärad district of Sweden, we intricately knit and weave fabrics, while sewing operations are distributed across both local environs and the Baltic Sea region. Strategically, our warehouse finds its home in Sweden's vicinity, ensuring minimized shipping distances. Proximity in production enables us to craft smaller initial collections, scaling up only in response to demand.

This approach mitigates risk of overproduction, a paramount environmental concern within the contemporary fashion industry.

Söder Mälarstrand Vest Navy YMR Track Club

" Fashion and textiles are in the DNA of the Sjuhärad district. This is where for example my grandfather used to have a shirt factory back in the days and I’m proud to pass on the legacy to technical and sustainable performance wear "

TIMELESS FASHION

Furthermore, our aim is for the majority of our sportswear to exude timelessness, seamlessly complementing each other. This allows you, our valued customer, to gradually construct your own "YMR sportswear collection" over time. Additionally, several of our garments are designed to be unisex, ensuring versatility across various members of the household as time progresses.

BUILT FROM A LOVE OF SPORT

At YMR Track Club, we have a background in track & field and running at a Olympic level. We therefore place very high demands on function and the feeling in the garments we develop. The garments are carefully tested by ourselves and our network to ensure that they meet our customers' expectations.

WHAT CAN YOU DO AS CUSTOMERS?

Ventilate instead of washing - Many garments are excellent to air and do not need to be washed as often. Above all, wool garments should mainly be aired. They are washed very sparingly and if this is done, it should be done in a wool program and with a special detergent adapted for wool.
Follow the washing instructions on the label - For example, clothes should be inverted before being put in the washing machine. Wash at lower degrees; In exceptional cases, you need to wash at 60 degrees. Otherwise, 30-40 degrees is enough.
Use a laundry bag - The bag protects your clothes from being worn and damaged. Also good for preventing microplastics from being released into the water.
Did you happen to fall over during the running session and punch a hole in the new tights? Remember that you or the local tailor solve the hole in a few minutes with a needle and thread.
Recycle the packaging in which the clothes are sent.
