Today is Mental Health Day - a day worth paying attention to.
Sports and running are in many ways fantastic. We get to challenge ourselves, become stronger, socialise with others and experience places where sport takes us. At the same time, many testify that they often feel that they do not quite fit into sports' often narrow templates of how one should be in order to fit into the world of sports.
Just as more and more people are realizing that running can be an excellent tool for mental health, our belief is that if more people also dare to be themselves, more people will also feel better and also contribute to a better world.
Take today to visit, call, or think of those struggling with mental health issues. Also, take the opportunity to try running if you haven't already, or run your favorite trail just the way you've always dreamed of—without caring in the slightest about what anyone thinks!
