ALONG LAKE ÅSUNDEN

These green running gloves are part of the Åsunden running collection, where we have created flexible and light running performance wear that keep warm in our cold Nordic climate. The collection is inspired by the large lake Åsunden which is located in the middle of the textile district Sjuhärad where we produce all our fabrics and where we ourselves have run along the large lake many times. It was out here on the ice that the King of Sweden, Sten Sture the Younger, fell in 1520 in the battle with the Danes.

During the coldest months we get nothing for free where we fight both the wind and the cold. The smoke from our increasingly intense breathing rises towards the sky. The arms fight and control our leg movement where we run along the beautiful lake. This is where the foundation for the race season during spring and summer is laid. The warm fabric in the Åsunden collection warms the skin without ever feeling clumsy or hindering us while running. We have put in many hours of work to find the perfect mix of thickness and warming properties as well as stretch to find the optimal fabric made for training outdoors in a colder climate.

LOCAL & SUSTAINABLE

Local production and sustainability are the foundation of YMR Track Club. The fabrics in these green running gloves are knitted just kilometers from the great Åsunden lake. The Åsunden collection is produced from fabrics made from recycled plastic and they are ÖKOTEX Class 1 certified. The print has the eco-standard Bluesign.

The Åsunden collection also includes shorts and a windbreaker for men and women. Choose between the sizes small, medium and large. The fabric in these green running gloves is light and keeps the heat during the run, skiing and cycling in autumn and winter.
