TACK TILL ER!

2022 har för vår del på YMR Track Club handlat om att stärka vårt varumärke ytterligare inom segmentet löpning och träning. Genom vår nya hemsida når vi allt fler kunder från hela världen som gillar det vi gör. Tillsammans med våra befintliga kunder är ni våra hjältar och jag vill tacka er för det förtroende ni ger oss. Ni verkar också precis som oss älska löpning i skogen, på löparbanan och på vägarna.

LOCAL PRODUCTION

During the year, we further strengthen our local production here in Sweden. I am particularly proud of the "Ängsö" collection where we produce the clothes within 16 miles from where the fabric is produced to the sewing and on to our warehouse.

Our local production is an important piece of the puzzle when we strive to reduce our climate footprint. The fact that we are also giving new life to Swedish textile production is awesome. For example, my grandfather once had a shirt factory in the textile districs of Sjuhärad and now we pass the legacy on to more generations at the very same place.

YOUR FAVOURITES

We release many new garments during the year and you customers really love many of the garments, but especially the Änggården Singlets, 1984 Plush Sweatshirt and our shorts Torekov and Söder Mälarstrand. I am also happy about the great response we have received to our women’s collection, especially this autumn.

Österlen Tights, Åsunden Lds Hoodie and Västanede Lds Longsleeve are all very popular garments. Now in December we have also finally got back the popular track suite Street Track after many requests from you customers. Thank you to those of you who take the time to give us feedback and rate the garments on our website.
YMR Track Club Store Stockholm

RETAIL

During the autumn, we opened our first own store at Linnégatan 4 in downtown Stockholm. We also have our office at the same place and on Wednesdays we have our Run Club. A warm welcome if you are passing by. Our sales take place mainly through our website, but we also win new retail customers during the year, such as Brooklyn Running Company in New York and Metta Running House in Mexico City.

THE LOVE OF SPORTS

When I founded YMR Track Club, it was mainly because of my huge passion for track & field, running and fashion. That is still the case. We are constantly striving to make the best (and best looking) performance wear that will last. At the same time, the passion for sports is still in our DNA at YMR Track Club. Personally, I did my own designed version of "100 days of change", which I have told you about in a previous post.

COMING IN 2023..

A lot of new things await next year! Soon we will tell you about a unique collaboration with another Swedish brand, where in February/March we will release a brand new product that we previously don’t have in our range, but which we have wanted for a long time. Stay tuned…

In spring, we will also release our new spring collection, where we have brought the best from previous collections and updated details regarding design, fit and fabric quality. The collection is called Järvsö and is completely adapted for running. We also introduce new colors and garments in our existing collections. Here you get a small taste of what is coming soon.

You will also find us at a lot of events around running and training during the next year. Our sustainability work will also continue intensively in 2023.

However, my greatest wish for 2023 is that we see an end to the war in Ukraine, which has affected and killed so many innocent people this year. This and all other wars make our world a worse place and put us in a position where we have to focus on completely different things to create a more sustainable and better world.
