2024 has been an amazing year for YMR Track Club. As we continue to expand both as a brand and a running community, we’re deeply thankful for your support. Whether you’ve joined our events, engaged with our content, or explored our collections, you are an integral part of our club. Together, we’re building a community of athletes driven by the spirit and lifestyle of running.
As we look back on another year gone by, we’re excited to share some of our top highlights from 2024.
In March, we embarked on an unforgettable journey to the breathtaking Catalonia region of Spain. Surrounded by majestic mountains stretching across the horizon, we immersed ourselves in this picturesque landscape to test and showcase our Spring/Summer Collection. The blend of stunning scenery and vibrant energy made it the perfect setting to bring our collection to life.
Never missing an opportunity to train on a new running track, during our spring shoot we headed out for a session at a truly one of a kind running track.
Located at the edge of both a city and a natural park along a river, the Tossols Basil Athletics stadium provided a unique running experience. Sited in a forest clearing, surrounded by oak trees, this is a place where nature and sports are united. Runners appear and disappear as they make their way around the track, hidden behind the trees.
Långlöparnas Kväll pace event at Stockholm Stadium was an evening filled with inspiration, joy and fantastic performances. The evening featured six heats where the runners took on the tough challenge of running 10,000 meters. The results speak for themselves: An incredible 92 personal bests and 43 season bests were achieved, meaning 98% of all runners set either personal bests or season bests. It's a performance that really shows the inspiring and encouraging atmosphere that marked the evening.
In August, in collaboration with Studenternas FK, we hosted another event at the iconic Stockholm Olympic Stadion that would become a day to remember. Under the radiant late-summer sun, hundreds of runners gathered to participate in a 5000-meter pace event designed for both beginners and top athletes.
The stands were filled with family, friends, and running enthusiasts who had come to cheer on the runners. For many of the runners, this was more than just a race; it was an opportunity to push their limits and improve their PBs.
This autumn we kicked off our Stockholm Run Club. From our clubhouse in the heart of Östermalm, Stockholm we hosted running meet-ups for our local community members. Braving some challenging weather conditions, our expert coaches led some great sessions filled with a lot of energy and positivity.
In the new year, we will continue to host monthly run clubs in Stockholm. Plus, we are bringing the YMR Run Club to Berlin, Amsterdam and New York City!
For our Winter Collection shoot, we stayed a little closer to home, surrounded by Stockholm’s serene natural beauty. Snow-draped woods and frozen lakes set the stage as we explored the outdoors, embracing the crisp, icy air. Against this magical winter backdrop, we put our winter gear to the test, celebrating designs inspired by the quiet strength and timeless elegance of nature in its coldest season.
2025 is shaping up to be another year for the record books. New collections, one of a kind running pieces and many more training events. We’re thrilled to bring the YMR Run Club to Berlin, Amsterdam, New York City, and possibly even more destinations!
Our running wear collections will continue to evolve, designed to meet the needs of our incredible community. Plus, we’ve got some standout pieces in the works, including a limited-edition sprint suit that we can’t wait to share with you. Stay tuned for a year full of performance wear innovations.
