WE WANT TO RUN TODAY, AND TOMORROW

By having a large part of our production locally, we reduce our climate footprint. We knit and weave fabrics here in the Sjuhärad district in Sweden, and sewing takes place both locally in the area and in the Baltic Sea region. We have also placed our warehouse in the same area in Sweden to minimize shipping. By producing close, we can make smaller start-up collections and then scale up only when we see a demand. This is to reduce the risk of overproduction, which is one of the biggest environmental problems in the fashion industry today.

" Fashion and textiles are in the DNA of the Sjuhärad district. This is where for example my grandfather used to have a shirt factory back in the days and I’m proud to pass on the legacy to technical and sustainable performance wear "

TIMELESS FASHION

We also want most of the sportswear to feel timeless and to be able to match with each other, so that you as a customer can build your "YMR sportswear collection" over time. In addition, several garments are unisex, which means that the garments can work on more people in the household over time.

BUILT FROM A LOVE OF SPORT

At YMR Track Club, we have a background in track & field and running at a Olympic level. We therefore place very high demands on function and the feeling in the garments we develop. The garments are carefully tested by ourselves and our network to ensure that they meet our customers' expectations.

WHAT CAN YOU DO AS CUSTOMERS?

Ventilate instead of washing - Many garments are excellent to air and do not need to be washed as often. Above all, wool garments should mainly be aired. They are washed very sparingly and if this is done, it should be done in a wool program and with a special detergent adapted for wool.
Follow the washing instructions on the label - For example, clothes should be inverted before being put in the washing machine. Wash at lower degrees; In exceptional cases, you need to wash at 60 degrees. Otherwise, 30-40 degrees is enough.
Use a laundry bag - The bag protects your clothes from being worn and damaged. Also good for preventing microplastics from being released into the water.
Did you happen to fall over during the running session and punch a hole in the new tights? Remember that you or the local tailor solve the hole in a few minutes with a needle and thread.
Recycle the packaging in which the clothes are sent.
