WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY

A message from YMR Track Club Founder Peter Häggström Lindecrantz

" Running, it’s not just a sport to me, it’s a lifestyle that fuels my heart and soul. The benefits are, as we know, well documented, and these include helping manage stress and anxiety to boosting brain power, productivity, and creativity.

RUNNING AND ME

For me, running has the potential to do even more. A force for good, it has the power to bring people together, to build connections and this matters to both our physical and mental wellbeing. Relationships with family, friends and the community are important, they can help support our overall happiness, securityandgive us a sense of purpose.

BUILDING A COMMUNITY

This is what we value so much at YMR Track Club. Since starting the company in 2017 it was my ambition to not only create an inspiring collection of garments that are designed and knitted here in Sweden, but to build a community of athletes who share a love of running on the track, trail or road.

WELCOME TO THE CLUB HOUSE

In the heart of Stockholm, our first pop up shop, our clubhouse is now open and is a place for people to, yes, come and explore our latest collection, but also to have valuable time to step away from their day to day, enjoy a coffee and share their running adventures and ambitions with the team. Our new Run Club on Wednesday evenings provides another opportunity for people to come together, share an experience and improve their running, whatever that means to them.

So, on World Mental Health Day, I’ll be heading out for a run because it’s good for my mind and body. Will you join me?
